Life on the edge...

Day 9 - Amnesty International...

Just finished a gig at The Jazz Bar in Edinburgh, tiniest stage I have ever stood on in my life but we managed to get through about 45 minutes of the 1 hour set we were entitled too (due to the 15 minutes sound check at the start) It was a weird one I have to say...! But a great first real inside gig all the same!

Rivkah exclaimed during our street performance outside the balmoral hotel that
"now that's not a violin, that's a f&£*ing violin" towards my performance apparently I was on fire with all of my solos and I have quite a few! So yeah... I was buzzing today. We did get rained off during the street stuff but meant we had some free time to chill out and go explore Edinburgh a bit...

Had a fun session in a music shop trying out some crazy boss pedals with Declan and Mr G... Saw some of the Fringe...

It was amazing to see are Angela, J and Jeanette at the gig tonight. Especially to see Angela... It's not an easy life on the road touring with a band... And hard to keep up with everyone in the "real world" but am still thinking of everyone no matter what...! Although it may come accross as quite glamorous! It definitely has it's weird moments being on tour...!

That's Jai, Rivkah, Declan and I sorted in our Travelodge so I better put out my light...

Off to York tomorrow!!

Oh and this was some of our 7 piece band doing our bit of Amnesty International today...

Mr G, Declan, Jen, Andy, Eva.
