Making Piñatas

Piñatas are ubiquitous this time of year, available for sale at just about every turn. There are always a couple for sale at the mercado, but I had never seen them under construction before today. This woman was industriously assembling a new piñata while her child played around the yet to be used parts in this alley just of the main market thoroughfare. Amazing what can be constructed from strips of paper.
