Beach life

Wow....what a scorcher! It must have been over 30 degrees today.

We headed down to Brighton this afternoon for Matt's (another Matt) birthday BBQ. We started by walking down to the seafront and there can't have been an inch free on the beach as it was absolutely packed with people. There was a lot of flesh on show and not always what you would want to see! I love people watching and seeing the kids watching the Punch and Judy show was brilliant. They were totally enthralled by it and it paints a perfect picture of the British seaside.

We then walked up to Matt and Kirsty's who live in the most amazing location just ten minutes from the beach. Kirsty is a great cook so the food was fab. We had a great evening with fantastic company. Loved playing all the tactics for the drinking game and my kindred spirit Amanda was on top form. All in all....brilliant day and a getaway I needed.
