Love is in the Air

Caught these two in the garden this morning. I had a hard choice between one of the butterfly lovers photos or this dragonfly photo!!! Oh, how I love the dragonflies but since I have posted dragonflies before I decided to go with the hot and heavy butterflies :)

Today was good! First day without our manager and all's well. Glenn had to take our car in this morning for some repairs so I decided to walk to work today. It was a nice walk!! I need to be doing it more! I picked some flowers for my vase on my desk and snapped a few shots along the way. Posted some on my flikr starting with the dragofly link above.

Another totally YIPPEE thing today is that we booked a trip to Hawaii!! We have always gone for many many years on our anniversary in October. Well, since the thought of opening and opening the store we haven't been able to go. And, a year before that we had an issue with, yes, our middle child so had to stay home that year. Glenn just found an awesome deal for Kauai! The airfare out of San Francisco is super cheap and a week in Kauai....fabulous deal. Couldn't pass it up. Plus, neither of us have been to that island and have been wanting to so off we go the end of October!! Another reason to do good on the diet!!! I'm going to have a few lava flows and not feel guilty about it :o) (for those wondering what a lava flow is, its a Hawaii drink with strawberry, cream and some alcohol of some kind) Whatever it is it's darn tasty!!!

Another beautiful day her on the Oregon coast. Quite windy though but I must say, walking to work I was grateful for the nice 'breeze' to keep me cool :o)
