FlowerFriday23

So this is one of the same roses from 2 weeks ago. Tom was complaining that the water was starting to smell, so I changed the water but kept the roses even though they were well past their prime! None of the petals fell off; they just turned sort of leathery looking, the colors deepened, & I thought they still looked pretty (& handy for FlowerFriday). I took the rose outside, set it on a snowbank (goodness knows we have an abundance of them) & dusted the rose with some fairy dust--okay, it was snow not fairy dust--but I liked the effect! 
We talked to Jennie on skype last night, & her classes are all done & all her homework is in--finally! Assuming she passes them all, she'll have her degree, & wants to go on to law school. She'd make an excellent one!
