Sweet Charity

To the Royal Exchange to see the lively musical "Sweet Charity." A vibrant performance, with terrific signing and dancing by an enthusiastic cast. Kaisa Hammarlund in the title role was especially good. The plot was rather slight and I found myself wondering whether it was just a couple of hours of fun or whether there was more to it, and if so, what. As I couldn't work that out, I decided just to enjoy the fun.
