View from the gate

I last photographed this beautiful Sussex church at Wisborough Green in summer splendor nearly 5 months ago on August 7th, surrounded by meadow flowers in the sunshine.
Today things were a little different, the meadow had long since been cut and the sunshine was in very short supply!! 
Everything was looking very glum, apart from the numerous lichens and mosses growing with a flourish on the old gatepost. In light of this, and not being one to miss an opportunity I took this shot of the church from the perspective of the gate.
I hope you like it, as I think it actually turned out OK.
