Calm Morning ...

before the preparations for Christmas Day begin.  
My daughter and I worked side by side in the kitchen this morning doing the prep for tomorrows dinner.  She was in charge of making the bread into bruschetta for the canapes.  This is a new thing for us this year.  She also made a delicious smelling apple, walnut and thyme stuffing for the turkey. I made custard for the trifles and then a pavlova.   
It was lovely to work together.
