Snowy Day

It's been snowing all day, unexpectedly I might add.  Rain was forecast but we got snow instead so it looks as though those folks wishing for a White Christmas will get their wish.  Past Christmases have been quite mild and we haven't had snow for sometime.  Personally, I had enough snow when I lived in Montana as it was the kind that never melts and creates its own landforms that you deal with for 5-6 months.  Chances are our big snow will be rained away before Christmas day.  I do hope all those people getting skis, etc., for Christmas will have a chance to use them though.  A little higher up on Mt. Baker I'm sure the snow will stick around and the ski area will be a busy place.   
 
There were several squirrels burying peanuts in the snow but I went with the duck for my blip.  Sadly, I'm out of Extras or I would have posted one there.  They're so funny because they're busy, busy, busy all day and fun to watch.
