Trouble Ahead

This tree growing out of the pillar of the footbridge was pointed out to me last week.
Doesn't look good and the damage done appears on first glance to be expensive!
It always amazes me how difficult it can be to cultivate anything in the garden but you can always find shrubs, trees and flowers growing in the most unlikely locations.
