Edinburgh Christmas decorations - with wind & rain

What a wet and windy day! I blipped these Christmas decorations not far from my house this morning on my way back from breakfast with friends at Contini's on George Street.

We spent most of the day with our friend Bella, her husband David, and their daughter Bethan and son-in-law Rob. Inevitably the Catan board came out, first at our flat and then later in Dolphinton. (Mr hazelh scuppered my chance of a win by blocking my access to ore - evil, evil man!)

We also met Bethan's new pony this afternoon. This reminds me that we will be asking for one of our own (as ever, in vain) when my sisters and I shout up the chimney to Father Christmas tomorrow night.

Exercise today: a little walking (7,362 steps).
