Fish food

I was told today by the government counterpart Visal who is accompanying me on this trip, that I was 'good' at Khmer food. That is a statement I never thought I would hear based on how long it takes me to eat a small bone-studded piece of fish, which is what every meal consists of when you're on the Tonle Sap. The diet is very 'samey', which coupled with the heat, really lowers my appetite. I didn't tell Visal that at this time of year I'd secretly much rather be eating a plateful of sprouts and a tray of freshly baked mince pies.

I think I've got sunstroke from yesterday. Moving at a glacial pace and struggling to keep eyes open beyond 6.30pm.
