No Place Like Home
Another day of cleaning, tidying for the big day. Went to the tip and found this trolley far away from it's home (some 4 plus miles away). Many more trolleys abandonded during this time of year. Makes you love Ellesmere Port even more(!)
Laid a reef on my mums grave then got home in time for Tuttle jnr who finished school at two. All shattered after a long term. After a bit more tidying up he popped over to his friends for tea. We wrote a shopping list (fun, fun) whilst watching Rillington Place on catch up (not so fun, fun).
A trip to Sainsbury s later with the scouts for a spot of bag packing till ten. We made well over 700 quid, which was nice!
It didn't stop there. A tour round Morrisons on the way home as they close at midnight, which was nice. Being tight arses we usually go Aldi/Asda but having 75 quids worth of morrisons petrol vouchers meant we could afford some of the nicer things in life like red sprouts. Understandably Tuttle Jnr wasn't exactly in a festive mood but was truly glad to get home, bowl of cereal then bed.
Don't we love Christmas?
