Christmas Eve

The Christmas presents look enticing under the tree, but this evening I have to pack them all up to take to the family tomorrow. There seem to be quite a few!
I'm listening to a CD of "seasonal motets" sung by the choir of Trinity College, Cambridge which at the time of recording was directed by Richard Marlow. I knew Richard very many years ago in our church youth club. He was a brilliant musician even then in his student days and sometimes played the organ in church. It feels good to have this connection at Christmas time.
