FRANKEL WONDER HORSE

WOW - what a day at York Races, UK.

This is the fastest horse in the world ! He has just won the Juddmonte International Stakes at York - that makes 13 wins from 13 starts. Had loads of pictures of him, including a quiet drink from a bucket after the race.

I chose this one because it also shows his trainer, Sir Henry Cecil, who is sadly having cancer treatment, and his jockey Tom Queally and his handlers. Sir Henry does not attend many meetings now but he managed to leg up the jockey before the race in front of an eccstatic 30,000 crowd. Another great occasion for Yorkshire.
Frankel has been racing for two years and is now a mature 4 year old. Perhaps one more race and then he retires to stud. What a life !
