What I did today...

Today I made iChristmas cards for the various internet sites I visit regularly.  This one is particularly relevant to me as i suspect if I hadn't crawled all over those fells and mountains regularly for the last 35 years and fallen off many of them from time to time I'd not be sitting here wincing from physio pain, I'd be up there now!

This view is looking up Grisedale towards the Nethermost Pike, Helvellyn and Dollywagon Pike ridges.  In another 40 minutes or so ascending along this path you'll be at The Hole in the Wall, a quick pit stop at Red Tarn then on your way to the Striding Edge ascent to the summit of Helvellyn.
