Xmas Eve

We started the day with our local Saturday morning 5k run dressed as santas. It was wet, windy and freezing but the cake and tablet at the end made up for that. D was very proud to have run all of the 2.5k for the first time. He's very good at deciding something and having the perseverance to achieve his target. His brother is a bit prone to giving up in the face of adversity, but we are working on that one! Anyone any tips on how to encourage self preservation and determination in kids?!
Back home for hot showers all round, lunch and then a wee snooze for me. The boys enjoyed an afternoon on the PS3 - Daddy if a last min shop. Now we're sat watching The snowman and The snowman and snowdog...feeling Christmassy :-) Merry Christmas everyone!
