Waiting to see the twits

Fantastic morning watching the Twits at the curve. Roald Dahl at his finest. Was an absolutely brilliant production and Mr and Mrs Twit were really properly disgustingly horrible!!

Then we went up to scraptoft to lay a wreath and flowers on Henry's grave. Toby and Eva made and decorated some salt dough decorations to hang on his tree. Christmas is very hard without him. I know for many people it is a sad time of year. Most people are missing someone. It's hard to always feel Christmassy and to be jolly for Eva and Toby. They seem to understand a lot more this year. We have had lots of cuddles. Toby doesn't ask why we are sad anymore. He just knows and gives us a hug.

This afternoon we went to the church. Was a lovely service for the kids with carols. I went down with Rosie Isla and Evie. Mike and Eddie went to the pub. Think it was planned in advance. Naughty boys. We joined them later. Lovely community feel at the pub, lots of people and kids out. We didn't stop too long though as the dogs needed to go out. Looking forward to a chilled evening in front of the fire with a nice bottle of chateauneuf du pape. The most organised I've ever been I think!!

Merry Christmas blippers xx
