There's snow on them thar hills

This is on the way through Tongariro National Park, New Zealand at sunset. I think the snowy mountain/extinct volcano in the background is Mount Ngauruhoe. It was approaching midsummer and the weather on the North Island was warm, so I was surprised to see snow.
