St Andrew Church at Langton
Langton is one of the prettiest villages
in Ryedale North Yorkshire. Its church
was largely rebuilt early in the 19th Cent.
Its font and chancel are both from the
13th Cent and there is an abundance
of 17th Cent wood panelling. On the
left can be seen part of the touching
memorial from 1656 to Mary Ingram
who died giving birth to twins both of
whom also died.
