A taste of Orange

Recipe to lure the city folks (and their wallets) out into the countryside:

1. Choose a large open space in the middle of the city

2. Tug fitted sheets over bales of hay, with a few hay bales left uncovered to give that rustic look and to give men something to rest one foot on

3. Liberally scatter cushions and bolsters around for a comfy feel

4. Throw down rugs and accessorise with side tables and lamps

5. Get a good cook to start preparing their favourite, more-ish recipes, and put it on the big tv screen in the middle of the square so people can watch and drool

6. Near lunchtime, crack open umpteen bottles of complimentary wine and dispense from a free-standing, corrugated iron bar

7. Now wait.

And watch the office workers come a-runnin'.

Yup, the country district of Orange knows how to promote their tourism and wine industries, oi reckon. It's a two -day Orange-fest, and I think they'll do well out of it.
