Best view in the house!

Found out yesterday that I'd one the blip competition to get a media pass to photograph the Tattoo, so along I went this evening. Met Trixtaphotography, the other winner of a pass, and headed for a backstage tour as the performers tuned up. Next there was a surreal moment as none other than David 'The Hoff' Hasselhoff was lead up the esplanade for a photo call in front of the castle.

We got into place for the start of the show, and watched the first half from a brilliant ground level spot. About half way through I dashed up a staircase at the back, and came out onto the viewing platform at the top... and what a spot! The view was incredible, as the platform is about 5 meters above the highest seats in the stands, and we had it to ourselves! Took LOADS of photos, which need to be sorted through, so this shot is a quick pick from the first flick through.
