Hands Off!

This is not to be started until tomorrow - but it has been difficult guarding it today! A day with family and friends around, and a last minute dash into the town too for veg shopping.

It was the very last day of the local branch of Woolworth's and they were selling off everything - even the staff clip boards. Rectangles of plywood with a bulldog clip on the top, with the staff member's name on them, for sale for 50p. So sad and poignant.

The shops are closed now - what we haven't got, we can do without! Off to carols and the watchnight service in the cathedral soon, the perfect way to begin the celebrations. Have a super Christmas everyone, however you are spending it.
