Christmas successes

Christmas day went from drizzly to warm and sunny. Several rounds of presents were had, shared among extended family. The food was delectable and satisfying without over-consumption. The children were happy with their loot, particularly with the skateboard and toy horses. Movies watched. Trampoline bounced. Laughter.

My personal highlights were solving a rubix cube (with Google help) and sorting out the issues in Syria using a cardboard box, stick figures and arrows.

And so far we just have the one child who has been vomiting with a tummy and unable to keep water down for the past 4 hours. Oh, and one other child teething molars. And probably the last child ready to surprise us all with some projectiles in the night.
