And for much the same reason . . . her husband was encouraging her to get closer to the waves to be photographed and of course, the ocean obliged and quickly drenched them, so she is drying out her skirt. I was impressed that the two surfers paused and waited, not crossing in front of the camera. Actually, the husband is taking pictures of the wave - not his wife, but she makes a very pretty statue. Reminds me of a statue of a bashful child often seen in gardens.
Extra was shot in the morning, with a glorious turquoise wave, in between rain showers in overcast conditions. And then, in early afternoon, the day transformed into a beautiful, sunny, blue sky, clouds blown away, high 70's, kind of day!
