Up Early

I was awake early, about 6.30, while it was still very dark, so I got out the camera and went out onto the foredeck.Suddenly, beside me there was a white apparition. A huge white dog. Thankfully I wasn't seeing a ghost, its owner followed shortly.

When the pair returned in better light I could see that the Alsatian was white and cream, very barn owlish in colour. I'd never seen one like it before.

The day began with a glorious sunrise and stayed very mild for our cruising today. Travelled along to Branston Water Park, one of our favourite mooring places.

I wonder if Santa will manage the very narrow chimney on Solace?
