Waves on the Loch (Day 592)
The wind eased a bit overnight but was strong again when I wandered up the hill with the dogs in sunshine this morning.
At home there was a visit from Mum and Dad with a few presents to open before lunch and another trip to Wasdale in a gale. It was another of those walks when it is difficult to breath because the wind is so strong. I was almost blown into a fence, and the wind stopped me in my tracks a couple of times. I couldn't keep the camera straight and still to take today's blip, looking across Wasdale Loch. The air is full of sea spray being blown in from the cliffs on the west coast, a good few miles away.
I am really bored of the wind now.
Its a shame that my beautiful wife is at work until tomorrow afternoon, hopefully the weather might have improved slightly by then.
