Pop Art Purple Reign

Some folk may not like the oversaturated effect on this (in-camera) setting, and I must admit, I tend to favour natural myself, but this is the only 'photo I mangaged this morning in the rain before work to show the Devil's-bit in its meadow setting. This plant can go on flowering into October, so I've left areas in the meadow where it grows uncut until it sets seed. Hoverflies seem to really favour nectar from its almost spherical head.
