Saturday: Burrard Bridge

It was a beautiful crisp day today so we took ourselves off for a walk into town.  We strolled along Davie Street and then over Granville Bridge to Granville Market.  It's a bit touristy but, for some time now, we have been wanting to try the Granville Island Brewery - we decided that today was that day, only to discover that it was early closing due to it being Christmas Eve.  We did manage to sample a couple - and had a particularly splendid IPA called 'Ugly Ducking'.  It lives up to its name - very unattractive but a superb drink!
