Christmas Day

HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL MY BLIP FRIENDS! 

I managed about 3.5hrs sleep between the midnight and 8am services. At the family service at 10.30am the children brought some of their presents to show me. I ended up riding a 5 year old's bike down the centre aisle! 

After the services it was time for me to drive across the Pennines to mum's. My brother and sister-in-law were already there. We had a late lunch and played our usual game of cards between the main course and the desert. After desert we resurrected another card game which we haven't played for years. This was interspersed with phone and facetime conversations with other members of the family. 

Remarkably I managed to remain awake through to the end of the evening. Looking forward to a good night's sleep now.
