Christmas eve

Prepared the red cabbage for tomorrows Christmas lunch, leaving it to soak overnight with the apple sauce, wine vinegar and red wine. Mixed in the onions before reading to the end of the recipe and spent half an hour fishing out the onions again, which need to be fried tomorrow, before the cabbage gets boiled. I normally just make it up as I go along but this time I wanted to follow the recipe to the T...
Liked the dreamy pattern when I cut the cabbage, a surprise picture each time you open one up.
