Tradition

This early morning tea set belonged to my late aunt. I can remember admiring it when a child. It is very fine china and has a lovely pearlised appearance. I don't use it very often but always bring it out if I am at home on Christmas morning.It actually has another cup and saucer and a sugar bowl to complete the set. Apparently it belonged to my uncle's mother who bought it as a young woman for her 'bottom drawer' - which makes it at least 120 years old by my reckoning.
