The Curse of 2016...

...David Bowie, Prince, Pete Burns, Leonard Cohen, Rick Parfitt, and now George Michael. Not forgetting other celebrities such as Alan Rickman, Victoria Wood and Caroline Aherne.

I was lucky to watch the recording of Parkinson at the BBC studios in 1998 when Michael Parkinson interviewed George Michael. I met him afterwards at the after show drinks - he signed a CD for me. A really nice chap.

I hope 2017 will be a better year.
