an excellent day at home. really feeling awful with the cold so I stayed in my jammies and we watched films all day which was perfect. I ate lots of the manuka honey I had bought yesterday then when beefy came home he made me a glen garioch hot toddie with (it turns out) a triple whisky. now feeling gung-ho wee went to tesco for the food and drink shopping thinking it would be quieter. wrong. we met loads of folk that had thought the same...including cryle, of course! I felt really much better by the time I got home...not sure which part of that hot toddie worked but it did.

I made a big batch of caramelised red onion chutney and we watched the final of masterchef- pleased that gary from glasgow won.
