Country meets City

We had a lovely day in Manchester. Bit of wandering around, lunch at Tompopo, people watching in Piccadilly Gardens and not forgetting the knickers sale at M&S!!

We found some great shops and cafes in the Northern Quarters. Full of wonderful gift ideas for people who have everything! (if you go, look out for tea towels with the periodic table...of swear words!! Really rude, so rude we didn't buy it! but surprisingly amusing!!)

We also found these allotments near the car park where we parked. We assume they belong to the people who live in the flats in the converted warehouses round there.
I would love an allotment - or a bigger garden!!
