Growing pains

One of the best things about my parents never having moved house is that they still have a height chart on the back of my wardrobe door, something the bump's cousin revelled in today.

In slightly more solemn news, my brother and I met with the consultant today and unfortunately the news wasn't good. Far from it. With one lung collapsed and the other heavily infected, poor granddad's condition is terminal.
