Friday 23rd

Today we travelled to Frankfurt to visit my father and his wife.
We left the house at 9 am after a breakfast and took the U-Bahn and bus to the airport. We managed to get all presents and a wee bit of clothes into one case. 
Hermann and Christina picked us up at the airport and we drove to their home, about 20 minutes south of Frankfurt.
Arrived there we sat down for a bit and got shared the plans for the next 3 days.
Basically the plans were only for the evenings when my father would spoil us with his amazing cooking.
We were free to take their car and do whatever we wanted.
So we planned a trip to my home town to visit my best friend for the next day and decided to just go for a walk in the forest today.
The forest just starts behind the house and we walked up and then towards the south. After a few kilometres we went down again and looked for a cafe in the neighbour village. We did find a lovely place called: Zuhause Café. (At home Café)
They had fair trade anything, home baking, homemade raw chocolate and so much more.
We had a couple of tasty coffees and a chat with the girl serving us.
Then we walked back to my fathers. This time along the road as it was getting dark.
Back at the house I had to do some work. It took an hour and that was me then finished for Christmas :)
Then we were spoilt with champagne, best wine, amazing food. All of which we had far too much!!
We had good conversations and went to bed far too tipsy for my liking.
It was a good day and relaxing is starting to kick in.
