Time Out

Today was a very relaxed, but hot Boxing Day (38C).  The family gathered around the pool, grazed, imbibed and nodded off as needed.  I seldom put up photos of family members, but felt the serenity of this shot was so eloquent.  Eli was having yet another swim, his 12 week old Cavoodle puppy, Yuki, had had enough of the water, so our daughter kept watch (no, she is not asleep) over both of them. I would love to be able to just opt out of the noise and chatter like this. They look so beautifully isolated, but were surrounded by at least 15 boisterous family members.
My extras are of the boy with his puppy and a very "refreshed" Yuki after his plunge.
Now Christmas is over there will be no more people or puppies, I promise!
