A Precocious Birder!

Dave, a good friend from my photo club, brought his grandson Alex (with his parents) to see some of my bird photos. At age 10, Alex is already an expert birder--of the 200-plus species in my digital show of North American birds he identified at least 80%, with no prompting, including many he had not actually seen (he brought his bird guide, which he clearly knows well). We spent well over two hours (it's normally a 40-50 minute show), and it was great fun.
