Beach life

Three families can produce a lot of beach debris, it seems.

Up way too early for my liking, and for no obvious reason. Still, that gave time for lots of marginally successful kitchen activity. And then a slightly later than planned departure to meet friends at a lake in the mountains. The canicule was declared officially over last night, but you wouldn't know it. The kids cooled off in the water, though it was a bit chilly in there for me to fancy a swim.

Anyway there was lots of picnicking, chat and nonsense and then back to Castres where the rosé is in the glass and the ribs are on the barbie. All good.
