Bunch-o-glads

I am in love with my gladiolas! We planted them in the backyard assuming that we'd enjoy them more while sitting in the kitchen or living room overlooking the fields. I think I enjoy them the most on my island in the kitchen!

New shoots are arriving daily and as old ones wilt and look unappealing - I quickly replace it with fresh new growth. It has been a couple of weeks and I'm still acquiring new flowers!

BJ mentioned that my Dahlias are soon to blossom as well... perhaps I'll soon have a mixed bouguet!
