Wings over Cramond

Took Jamie back to Cramond today in the hope he could see some swans. But, although there were plenty of ducks and seagulls, there were no swans to be seen.

However, he was able to stand by the sea wall and throw in some bread and this resulted in the usual 'bird mania' as they swooped and dived, looking for every crumb they could get.

We had to shelter for a while as it began to rain but were able to resume our adventure as it didn't last too long - an adventure that did of course include a break for some ice cream!!

It was one of those days when I got several shots that would have made good blips but, by the time we were getting to leave, it was so quiet by the water, I thought this shot matched the moment perfectly.
