City Spliters

This prefab peninsula, whose predictable point lies just behind me here, is home to this publishing house. I haven't done my research but I think the building is supposed to represent a ship thus demonstrating the city's nautical routes .....or something. The bridges are part of the city's cycle system and have cut kilometres off commutes for thousands. 

The building seems to split the city and the cycle bridge actually does.

I really like the mismatching slabs in the foreground that carry the line right through the frame.
