Nature Reserve

I went out for a traditional Boxing Day walk this afternoon in wonderful sunshine under a blue sky, although it was quite chilly.  I visited a nearby nature reserve which, surprisingly, I only recently became aware of.  It is an oak-hornbeam woodland on land that was once part of Enfield Chase, an ancient royal hunting ground.  I shall no doubt visit again to explore more.
