Helen, Tom, Margaret, Charlotte and Will left early this morning for their long journey back to Carlisle. Victoria lives in Birmingham and D took her to the bus station at midday.
The house seems very quiet.
We tidied up this morning, putting random pieces of furniture back where they came from and I cleaned the bathrooms. 
We had a lovely, quiet afternoon not doing much at all.
I do love this time of year, after all the madness, when you still have a fridge full of food and a rack full of wine.
Sad to hear of the loss of yet another celebrity today, Carrie Fisher.
