Greenknowe Castle

We picked up a few things for our Christmas eve dinner at the Tivot Smokery then visited Greenknowe Castle before heading home.  Greenknowe Castle was a tower house that belonged to a minor landowner (whose name I have forgotten)  It is a ruin that is maintain by historic Scotland, but not very well known.  I have included a selfie I took with my husband in the castle as my extra photo for today.
