Always on boxing day; the debilitating Crown to Crown 5km Trail Race, in Langdon Hills, Basildon. Its a tough course especially so on a stomach of turkey wine and beer ! I've suffered this for at least 26 years. Also Thameside Mummers (wearing authentic medieval sunglasses) outside the Crooked Billet in Leigh-on-sea where they have performed for 41 consecutive boxing days ! Two classic boxing day fresh air and ale related traditions. Perfect. Cheers. :-)
