Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

He who is tired of London ...

... is tired of life.

Beautiful views of the river today, but cold. We walked up to Millbank to see the Paul Nash at Tate Britain; I liked it, TSM didn't. Not very keen on his post impressionist / surrealist periods (he didn't have the courage to go far enough and looks like a half-arsed Picasso); but most of his other stuff was interesting and some of it really good. HIs period as a war artist is only one part of his canon but of course it's the bit everyone remembers.

They also have a wonderful gold rooted Christmas tree hanging up side down in the Tate. Very impressive - see extras.

Had lunch outside in Wagamama's on the South Bank. That's been one of the big steps forward in the last few years in British culture; all year 'round eating out. Nice to have something different after all the Christmas fayre.

Watched some catch-up TV tonight - Witness For The Prosecution with Toby Jones. Agatha Christie gone over to the dark side. Talking of Dark Side: RIP Carrie Fisher ... bloody hell ...
