Dog walk

A return to normal staff wise today ( or as normal as it gets )
Fed cattle then left one one mucking out and bedding , and another on filling empty hay hecks for sheep. A mini family excursion to Gullane beach to walk 3 dogs. Not the best idea I've ever had as it seems this is what every man and their dog does after Boxing Day . It was mobbed. The collie and Lab were OK, but the terrier kept running off to see folk/ other dogs/ waves/ grass etc etc. Eventually had to put him back on his lead. Two things, you could tell the ones that weren't dog people when he came galloping up to them, and I have never noticed so many folk with inappropriate footwear for walking down a beach in mid winter . Mind you they maybe said the same about me in my wellies !
