Portrait

I had just finished this portrait, when Kendall called to tell me of a remarkable television documentary airing on Frontline, titled "Exodus," about the refugee crisis in the Middle East and Africa. I imagine that she'll write about it also, and perhaps link to it. This painting seemed appropriate for a blip after that powerful and heart-wrenching documentary, which followed the lives of several families and individuals leaving their countries.
